We purchased a pergola at Recreation Unlimited in June of 2019. There were repeated delays, and we finally got the pergola constructed in September. This year, on returning from our winter home, we found several issues with the pergola - the wood was not properly treated, the holes not pre-drilled properly, there are large cracks and splits in the entire structure. I keep hearing that the problem is with the company from which R.U. obtained the wood. I don't care, really, I gave my money to R.U. and they have yet to make this good. The problem was reported in March, and it is now mid-August. Attorney is our next step. Very frustrating!

Storage units are not the same as storage sheds, which are often installed on a person's own property and can be purchased in easy-to-assemble kits from your local home improvement store. While sheds are an alternative to storage units and can surely help solve your need for more space, there are certainly some downsides to consider like cost and assembly.
Most sheds need wide doors to accommodate equipment and storage. Therefore, a barn door is the most frequently installed style because they are wider than standard doors. Barn door costs start at $100.
Simple storage is the name of the game, with the a-frame shed! Choose between dura-temp painted siding, or vinyl siding, and get the size that best fits your needs.
Let’s take a look at how the following five factors can affect your project spending: Prefabricated Kits vs. Custom Design: Buying a prefab kit from the store and installing it yourself will cost you much less than hiring a pro to build a custom shed design. Labor: Professional installation isn’t free. Hire a pro to do the job for you or save some money and turn it into a DIY project. Building Material: Wood, brick, vinyl –– material prices will vary depending on the quality. Intended Use: Building a small garden shed for your tools will likely cost you much less than a large shed to be used as a workspace. Land Preparation: A backyard shed won’t stand tall on bumpy land. Before you build, you might need to reslope the terrain. Prefabricated kits vs. custom design Prefabricated kits
